The largest supplier of aftermarket imaging systems and components has provided more than 140 replacement chips to various regions in the quarter.
A complete solution for the Samsung SCX-6555 (pictured) has been made available, with toner cartridges and drum units for this printer series coming separately. Improved replacement chips for the toner cartridge were also released, based mostly on customer feedback, with the new chip including a longer connector which assists when remanufacturing cartridges with broken clips.
Ink was also released for the HP 934, 935, 970 and 971 cartridges, the same which Static Control uses in its line of remanufactured inkjet cartridges, which were previously only available in Europe. Remanufactured inkjet cartridges are also now available for the Epson T126, T127 and T200XL cartridges, as well as parts for converting HP CE390A/X cartridges, including a replacement waste bin, replacement drum bearing plate, a contact-side end cap and a drive-side end cap.
Replacement waste toner bottles were released, one for Kyocera monochrome printers, with bottle, cap warning label and clear tape to hold the cap; and another for the Samsung ML-5510 and related devices. Replacement developer rollers were produced for the Lexmark T650 for “rich, dark image densities”, while develop roller stabilisers for use in Brother HL-1240 cartridges also came to market. The design has been changed to reduce the chance of the stabiliser from unclipping.
Further replacement chips were released for use in cartridges for the following printers: the Xerox Phaser 3100, 3260, 3610 and 7800; the Xerox SC2020 and P355 and M355; the Kyocera ECOSYS TK-5140 and TK-5150; the Samsung CLT-C809S; the Canon LBP-8100; the Ricoh SP C252 and Aficio SP 5200/5210; and the Lexmark CS310, CX410 and CS510, with “multiple yields and regions […] available for most”.
Replacement chips are also available for the inkjet HP LX 610 printer, along with “a wide variety of OPC drums, toner, wiper blades and doctor blades”.
