California-based West Coast Ewaste has also been issued a seizure and forfeiture by the United States International Trade Commission (USITC), both for “toner cartridges and components thereof”.
The orders relates to a General Exclusion Order (GEO) secured by Canon in 2013, and earlier this month Clover was issued a seizure order relating to the same case, although it said that “no Clover products were seized by customs”.
Last month seizure orders related to the Canon GEO were issued to Clear Imaging Inc. and Magna Ink Corporation, also related to the movement of “certain toner cartridges and components thereof”.
