The Dutch company has decided to sell its over 20-year-old remanufacturing unit after deciding to “focus solely” on its OEM business earlier this year.

The company had announced that it would be handing over management of the remanufacturing unit to Pelikan Hardcopy, but the group, which has a remanufacturing plant in Slovakia, is now looking to sell the ‘XPS’ and ‘Xiclado’ brand names and ‘xps.com’ and ‘xicaldo.com’ websites.

It specialises in ultrasonic cleaning of used cartridge components, end-of-line and life testing and runs an “operator testing programme”, and now has three ‘packages’ on offer.

The first includes a bill of materials with information about each item’s usage, purchased price and detail cost, vendor information, its compatibilities, and working instructions; the second is for the brand names and websites as well as analysis of the European market and an Excel database; and the third is a technical database, as well as equipment such as printers, toner filling machines and forklift trucks.

Printers include the Primera LX900e label printer and the Zebra ZM400, forklifts include the electric Cesab Blitz 312, while the CF Technologies IFTFMBAGS toner filling machines is also available as part of the deal.
