Nov 6, 2015

Canon L36The imagePROGRAF iPF770 MFP L36 and the imagePROGRAF iPF670 L24 are wide-format MFPs with scan-to-copy/file systems, and are the entry-level countrerparts to the iPF MFP M40.

Canon says the devices print with five-colour dye/pigment ink, with a sub-ink tank system and top media loading system. They are designed for compact workspaces, with the L36 and L24 referring to the width in inches of each device’s scanner and printer.

The printers also include SingleSensor Technology for precise colour replication, while scan modes range from draft to best, allowing regulation of image quality. Economy Print Mode is also included, as well as PosterArtist Lite, Direct Print & Share, and a plug-in for Microsoft Office software facilities.

The suggested retail price for the devices is $5,995 (€5,524) for the L36 and $4,095 (€3,773) for the L24, with the devices expected to start shipping later this quarter.

Junichi Yoshitake, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Business Imaging Solutions Group, said: “These new imagePROGRAF devices can inspire companies to perform their own large format scanning, and feel confident they have the tools needed to archive, print and distribute maps, technical documents, and renderings along with anything else that needs to be saved.”
