The Austria-based office supplier partners with Turbon and operates worldwide, with sites in the Czech Republic and Mexico among others.
It stocks over 2,700 products, including a range of aftermarket of printer cartridges including Turbon’s toner cartridges, BusinessPartner PBS reported (German).
Over half of its turnover from its distributor in Germany, Soft Carrier, comes from printing supplies, and Kores CEO for Germany, Edgar Otto, said that Turbon’s products offer “legal security” from OEM patents, while the group’s short development time for new laser products and base in Hattingen allows Kores to stay competitive.
Soft Carrier CEO Thomas Veit hopes to take advantage of the Turbon partnership as sales development in Germany “continues to be positive”. Otto and his team in Rommerskirchen manage the company’s inks, toners and labels, focusing on maximising product “quality”.
