Dutch National Police
The OEM is updating the national police’s fleet with between 4,000 and 5,000 new printers and MFPs, which will serve the police’s 65,000 employees.
The national police, which was formed when all 26 police forces in the Netherlands merged at the start of 2013, is hoping the deal will standardise its fleet, Dutch IT-channel reported.
The police force is spread over 800 locations, with 10 regional units, a national unit and the police academy. Each unit is given a central printing point, which interconnects with all the others, allowing the police to “act as one”.
With a duration of four years, the deal came about following a European tender procedure that lasted two years.
