Select printers and MFPs can now support the technology, making it “even easier to access documents from anywhere and support growing printing needs”.
Colour devices that now include the technology include: the ECOSYS P6035; P6130cdn; P7035cdn; P6030cdn; P6026cdn and the P6021cdn. Also eligible among the mono devices of the range are: the P2135dn, P4040dn, P4035dn, LS-4300DN; LS4200DN; LS-2100DN, FS-4300DN; FS-4200DN; FS-4100DN; and the FS-2100DN.
Colour MFPs that can now support the technology include: the ECOSYS M6535cidn; M6035cidn; M6530cdn; and the M6030cdn.
The Google service allows users to send print job from their smartphone, tablet, computer or any other web-connected device to any cloud-connected printer, an important feature for the OEM’s key target markets such as the education and public sector.
Print jobs can be sent while out of the office, with anyone with a Google account able to take advantage of the technology.
