Sharp releases laser colour MFPs

Sharp's Color Advanced seriesThe 10 new models include five in the Colour Advanced Series and five in the Colour Essential series, with print speeds ranging from 30ppm to 60ppm.

PR Newswire reported on the new printers, with the Colour Advanced series including: the MX-3070N; MX-3570N; MX-4070N; MX-5070N; and MX-6070N, which print at 30ppm, 35ppm, 40ppm, 50ppm and 60ppm respectively. The Colour Essential series in turn includes: the MX-3050N; MX-3550N; MX-4050N; MX-5050N; and MX-6050N, which print at 30ppm, 35ppm, 40ppm, 50ppm and 60ppm respectively.

The Colour Advanced printers can scan up to 200 images per minute and feature a walk-up motion sensor to ready the printer within 10 seconds; Easy Copy and Easy Scan options on the interface; and the latest Sharp OSA technology for integration with network applications and cloud services. The OEM’s multi-layered security features are also part of the devices’ features.

The Colour Essential range is built on the same engine platform as the Advanced series and “are designed for cost-conscious customers, offering full multifunction capability at a strong value”.

The MX-3070N, MX-3570N and MX-4070N are immediately available for purchase from authorised Sharp dealers and direct sales, while the MX-3050N, MX-3550N and MX-4050N will become available in 1Q2016. The MX-5070N and MX-6070N and MX-5050N and MX-6050N will subsequently be made available in the second quarter of 2016.
