A number of models from the MultiXpress 7 range have achieved one million printed copies and one million scans in under three months.
Industry Analysts ran the test on five of Samsung’s MFPs, including the MultiXpress K7600GX, X7600GX, M5370LX, X4300LX and M4580FX, Business Wire reported.
The test was designed to test reliability, productivity, scanning and printing technology, as well as Android UI and ease of use of the MX7 Series, and is the first of its kind trialing Samsung devices.
Recognition was made for the 300,000, 500,000 and 750,000 milestones respectively, with Industry Analysts looking at: copy and print first page out time, for both stapled and non stapled; ppm scan speed for simplex and duplex; and time to complete print jobs for documents, Powerpoints, PDFs and large PDFs.
Andy Slawetsky, President of Industry Analysts, said: “The MX7 is one of the best machines I’ve ever tested and certainly about the most reliable I’ve ever used.
“The 60-ppm black and white copier printer MFP ran tens of thousands of pages each day with only one unscheduled maintenance call. It has a massive paper capacity, from both input and output perspectives, and the scanner speed is insanely fast. At the same time, the document handler holds more than the published yield while the touch screen is world-class.”
Matt Smith, Vice President of Printing Solutions for Samsung America, said: “This achievement is a testament to the importance we place on the enterprise in bringing products to market that deliver on the needs of our dealers and their customers.
“Samsung and our dealers share a common goal of delivering reliable technology that solves real business challenges every day.”
