The matchmaking service is now live, allowing exhibitors and visitors to be brought together by both a computer programme and trained specialists.
Messe Frankfurt, organisers of Paperworld, which includes Remanexpo 2016, announced the programme to “promote business relationships” in August 2015 alongside a business lounge. Exhibitors who registered for the matchmaking service earlier in 2015 can now access the system here, and should have received emails with individual login information. Once logged in, you can double-check and edit profiles, and search for visitors who have bought tickets, as well as schedule meetings with them.
Messe Frankfurt will add more visitors to the system in January, as last year the majority bought tickets in the last two to three weeks prior to the show. This busier period will see the organisers encourage meeting selections and push for responses from visitors to accept or decline any meeting requests received. Any exhibitor that has not received login details can contact the organisers at info@matchmaking-messefrankfurt.com, or by calling +49 69 7575 3225.
Exhibitors can also work with Messe Frankfurt to create more than one profile and meetings calendar for sales staff, while exhibitors and visitors interested to sign up have also been informed of what information to provide. This includes: company name; a 20-word description of the company; its website; its country of origin; participants details, such as titles, first names and surnames; job titles, which are important for meeting selections; email addresses; telephone numbers; industry sectors including sub-sectors; booth number; and participation category, either exhibitor or visitor.
The business matchmaking service aims to “bring together demand and supply from the trade and industry” as visitor demand for the show, taking place in Hall 6.0 from 30 January to 2 February 2016, “remains high”, and the service will give exhibitors “the chance to gain new customers” and give visitors “the opportunity to find valuable new suppliers”. Both groups are able to “make targeted contacts and initiate potential business relationships even before the fair begins” by entering product information and interests on an online platform on the Remanexpo website.
The information provided allows sets of attendees “with the potential to become business partners” to be “brought together by a trained team and a computer-aided programme”. Appointments will be arranged by the computer-aided tool by “taking account of the needs of both sides”, and allowing attendees to “make the best possible use of their time at the fair”. For the first year, the matchmaking service is “free of charge for all participants” at Remanexpo as well.
