The company analysed products that “maybe you missed”, and that it provides a range of components for.

CIT noted that some monochrome products are “widespread over Europe, but maybe you missed [them]”, adding that companies should check and ask “are you remanufacturing all of them”, and “do you know all ins and outs of this printer engine?” It lists a range of products in this regard including: the Brother HL8050 and TN1700; Epson’s EPL N3000; OKI’s B6200, 6250 and 6300; Microple’x LJ Rapid 34; Tally’s Genicom Microlaser ML402; Sharp’s DX-B350 and B450; and Xerox’ Phaser 4500 “and the follow up models”, for which only the “chip and OPC differ”.

Another list of products it notes include: the Develop Ineo 40; the Epson EPL M4000; the KM PagePro 4650 and 5650; the OKI B6500, 710, 720, 730 and ES7120; the Microplex LJ Rapid 40 and 45; the Konica Minolta bizhub 40P; the Tally 9045; and the Xerox Phaser 4510. CIT notes that remanufacturers should be “aware of the varieties of all these models”, recommending that it stocks and supplies “all the chip versions […] by changing the chip you can easily add on a new model”.

It also noted that by only changing the chip in the group, “you are done”, and can “keep stock of un-chipped products and chip them [in] five minutes for shipment”. It next adds that remanufacturers should know “the OEM chips can be reset”, with its own FREESET resetter able to reset and “test the quality of chips afterwards”, except for the OKI B710, 720, 730 and ES7210. Resets are possible but “the brand cannot be changed”, while CIT’s resetter is “worldwide patented, safe and stable”.

A third tip from the company is that “universal toners work for both models”, and that it offers magsleeves to enable remanufacturers to “make use of non-virgin empties that have deteriorated developer rollers”, because “a new sleeve makes better use of waste”. A fourth tip is “conversion hoppers” for converting the Epson EPL N3000 to EPL M4000, Xerox’ Phaser 4500 to the 4510, or OKI’s B6200 to the B6500, with CIT also selling a converter hopper that changes old empties to new.

Finally, the company recommends “making better use of empties”, with components available from CIT including “the obvious toner, OPC and chips”, as well as “universal wiper blade, cleaning blades, doctor blades, cartridge pins […] toner seals [and] springs for the drum shutter”.
