The wide-format company launches new additions to the series.
The new addition to the series of inkjet printer/cutters are the TrueVis SG-540 and SG-300, which have been designed to “produce indoor and outdoor advertising, vehicle graphics, banners, posters and displays” as well as “labels, decals and apparel heat transfers” reported Proprint.
The series features the “Roland DG FlexFire print heads” and “new four colour TrueVis ink” as well as “integrated print and cut technology”. The company promises that the SG series will “deliver high quality output and efficient ink usage”, which will be done by “firing precision droplets in three sizes and a wide print swath”. The TrueVis ink comes in “500ml pouches that slide into a hidden ink bay” and the company said that this is a “clean and efficient method of storage”.
The inks use “eco-solvent ink technology” which meet “environmental standards” and offer “low consumption at competitive pricing”.
Gino Farina, Roland DG’s Australia Sales Director, said: “Sign shops and print service providers are looking for an advantage over their competitors by providing high quality printing while keeping operating costs down. Small shops in particular will appreciate the outstanding overall value and low cost of ownership of our SG series.”
