The company said the “special event” is “key in order to understand our customers” and “the needs and nuances of the industry”.
The show next year – which includes the Remanexpo product group – will take place from 28 to 31 January in Frankfurt, Germany, and a wide range of industry companies are already confirmed for the event as exhibitors, with strong interest shown in the event. Previous exhibitors have already received an email containing a personal link to registration as well, and you can register for the event here, and in May, The Recycler reported that the entire Paperworld event has seen a record number of exhibitor registrations.
Uninet Europe’s Managing Director, Zoltan Matyas, commented that the company has “been a very loyal exhibitor of all the Remax and later on Paperworld shows. In fact we are the only global supplier in the remanufacturing industry who [has] never missed one. It will not be different in 2017 when I believe the industry needs us more than ever. The last few years changed the remanufacturing industry. True remanufacturers need committed high quality value added suppliers like us so they can continue to deliver high quality products”.
He added: “We will proudly show our commitment and continuously-increasing investment into supporting the real remanufacturing industry. We want remanufacturers to hear our message, see our products and understand how Uninet can be their partner, helping them to keep being successful in producing 100 percent remanufactured cartridges in Europe. Paperworld is the single best place to do that, so that is why we choose to be there”.
In terms of advantages of exhibiting, Matyas stated that these” are not always tangible. Obviously we always get the good old measurable results from the show such as new leads, new orders, long term deals closed on meetings, number of sample enquiries etcetera, but lately this event became a real networking forum where people get together to talk. Talking about market trends, sales solutions, customers, even politics and governments etcetera – just about anything affecting their business.
“Within a (not so) short amount of time (four days is too long!) we have the special opportunity to talk to our people in an ‘out of the office seeing the big picture’ type of way. We like to network and we like to listen. For us, Paperworld is key in order to understand our customers, the needs and nuances of the industry.
“With the help of these conversations we can grasp what remanufacturers are looking for and what everyday issues they deal with, and what answers we need to provide. When you are in a ‘providing solutions’ type of business, understanding the problem and the real needs are your most important asset. Understanding what is required from us is a key advantage for us every year in Frankfurt.
Finally, on what makes the event special, he stated that “it’s a special event since it’s the only one of its kind around the year in Europe, and it still attracts the most international visitors from Europe”.
This year’s event saw over 1,608 exhibitors and 36,773 visitors from over 139 countries, with exhibitors said to be “pleased with new contacts, order patterns and [the] internationality” of the visitors to their booths”. Exhibitor and visitor surveys showed that “real innovations and novelties”, alongside “positive order patterns”, created a “positive mood” among exhibitors at the event. A call for papers has also been launched for the REMCON conference.
