The company said that the event is “the most professional expo in Europe for the aftermarket”.
The show next year – which includes the Remanexpo product group – will take place from 28 to 31 January in Frankfurt, Germany, and a wide range of industry companies are already confirmed for the event as exhibitors, with strong interest shown in the event. Previous exhibitors have already received an email containing a personal link to registration as well – you can register for the event here – and in May, The Recycler reported that the entire Paperworld event has seen a record number of exhibitor registrations.
Morrow Miao, Aster’s Marketing Director, told The Recycler that “it will be our sixth time exhibiting at Paperworld Frankfurt”, and added that “our experience with the past five shows was great. It’s the most professional expo in Europe for the aftermarket printer supplies market. There we showcase our development, network with industry colleagues, meet our customers and learn the first-hand industry information. There are new business opportunities too, although the whole industry is not as dynamic as it was before”.
In terms of advantages in exhibiting, Miao added that these include “showcas[ing] our company as a whole”, “introduc[ing] our new products and technologies”, “learn[ing] industry information [and] meet[ing] existing customers”. On the last point, he stated that “the show provides a perfect platform where we can communicate with our existing customers. It’s time and cost-saving compar[ed] to flying to their places”.
Another advantage is that the company can “explore new business opportunities”, Miao pointing out that “although the industry is not as dynamic as it was before, considering the challenges from the IP side, there are still a lot of opportunities for the companies, such as Aster, who own patent-free solutions.
“Paperworld is a good place for Aster to meet companies who take IP issues serious[ly]. Based in the Netherlands, Aster has local stock, [a] local sales team and local support team in Europe. For us, Paperworld is easy to access; for the EU visitors who would like to benefit [from] the convenience and the reliability of local supply, Aster is their best choice”.
Finally, on what makes the event special, Miao commented that “the show is located in the heart of Europe. It’s the most convenient industry show for EU visitors. Remanexpo [product group] is a part of Paperworld. This means the exhibitors have a broader visitor portfolio and wider business opportunities”.
This year’s event saw over 1,608 exhibitors and 36,773 visitors from over 139 countries, with exhibitors said to be “pleased with new contacts, order patterns and [the] internationality” of the visitors to their booths”. Exhibitor and visitor surveys showed that “real innovations and novelties”, alongside “positive order patterns”, created a “positive mood” among exhibitors at the event. A call for papers has also been launched for the REMCON conference.
