The two companies announced the deal, noting that the alliance will see the two deliver “business process improvement and timely access to mission-critical information, optimising business performance”. The “distinctively unique” partnership will see the two “provide business process improvement services to their mutual customers”, and offer customers “a new level of consultative expertise in simplifying complex workflows”.

The deal is said by both companies to represent a “significant leap forward in capabilities”, and is reportedly an “exceptional opportunity” for North American companies, and their combined work will deliver “broad capabilities and expertise across the entire spectrum of business information”. Databank resells Hyland OnBase, an enterprise content management (ECM) platform, which will be integrated into Kyocera’s HyPAS business app for a “comprehensive, end-to-end” solution.

In another post, the companies said that other areas of improvement created by the partnership include that “business processes [are] simplified”, as well as a company’s IT and applications, with the “one-click configurable, low-code solution” also providing “access and visibility without sacrificing security” alongside “data-enabled decision-making”.
