The OEM was the winner of the Buyers Laboratory (BLI) award for its A3 MFPs.
The bizhub C308, 227 and 287 were awarded the ‘BLI Pick Award 2016’, with both said to be “appreciated for fast printing, high quality output, reliability and outstanding value”, reported Hans India. Winners were picked by BLI, based on best performance as “per the BLI extensive laboratory tests”.
The key features of Konica Minolta’s MFPs were “excellent reliability” and a “fully customisable driver and diverse control panel”, as well as “fast print speeds in multi-user environments” and “high quality output in black and consistent colour over long runs”, with “support for mobile printing” and lastly “comprehensive security measures”.
George Mikolay, BLI’s Senior Editor, said: “The Konica Minolta bizhub 227/287 and bizhub C308 will reduce costs and streamline workflows in a number of ways and impressively bridge the gap between compact A4 MFPs and traditional mid-volume A3 office MFPs. The device is a high value-add for small- to mid-size workgroups.
“The BLI award-winning MyTab in the drivers is fully customisable, allowing users to set preferences and shortcuts for frequently used job to streamline workflow. And the intuitive control panel can be customised with up to 25 shortcut keys for commonly programmed jobs.”
