Cartridge World store sponsors school children

Sep 23, 2016

cartridge-world-stuart-lloydA franchise in Nuneaton is providing five children with printers and ink for free.

The scheme entails giving away MFPs worth £80 (€92/$104) and supplying the ink cartridges for a year worth £400 (€464/$520). Five local children will benefit from the scheme which is the brain child of Stuart Lloyd who owns the Franchise in Nuneaton.

Lloyd has been in business for ten years and has built up a loyal customer base; he is regularly involved in fund raisers and charity initiatives. The “print sponsor” is the latest of his schemes and is supported by Canon UK.

Lloyd commented “We are always looking for ways to give something back to the local community. We regularly hold printer giveaways and competitions, but we wanted to do something a bit more focused on school children and supporting the next generation by providing tools to assist their learning.

“We would like to help youngsters who don’t already have a printer at home and who would benefit from the opportunity. As part of the package they will be given printers to keep and we will replace their ink cartridges regularly for a 12-month period.

“Application forms are available now and should include a statement as to how and why it will benefit them.”

Application forms for the printer and ink package can be collected from the Abbey Street store or requested via email from cwnuneaton@cartridgeworld.co.uk.
