The retailer noted that “when it comes to customers, experience is everything”.
In an article on its website, the company started by stating that “when you’re in need of printing supplies, you head out to the big box stores, right?”, adding that “we all do” because “they’re close by, convenient, and they general have what we’re looking for”. However, “for most of us, something happens just minutes after we walk through the door”, it adds, which is “that feeling of mild confusion that could turn into frustration and panic at any time”.
With the bigger stores, customers “don’t know where anything is”, and don’t “really know what KIND of thing we’re really looking for”, meaning that “we end up asking for help”, and in this case “maybe we get someone with the right kind of experience”, but often “we get ‘Kenneth’, the part-time college student who can point us in the general direction of the aisle where our item may or may not be located”.
The company added that ‘Kenneth’ and workers like him are not “bad”, but aren’t “typically” the “expert you need”, with “a better idea” being to visit a Cartridge World, where “you get your own personal printing supply expert who can answer all of your questions, provide the exact items you need, and save you more time and money in the process”. It claims this is the case because it has been “in the business for more than 20 years”, with an international network of 1,500 stores.
Additionally, it claims that its “VAST network of resources from the top suppliers in the industry” have allowed it to “study up on” cartridges, and can help with printers because “as independent printing supply experts”, it “works with almost all of the major printer manufacturers […] to offer you advice on the best machine for YOUR unique needs”, and sty “totally unbiased so that you get the best printer at the best price”.
In terms of cartridges, the company claims it “saves our customers 20 to 30 percent more on cartridge costs every year” by “providing the largest selection of tested, guaranteed-high-quality refurbished ink and toner cartridges available”. It also says that its remanufactured products “work BETTER than high-priced standard cartridges you get from office supply chains”, while as a “point of contact”, its stores each have a contact “who remembers you”.
The contact also “knows your specific models and situation, and can give you what you need before you know you need it”, allowing the company to take a “personalised approach to our customer service […] backed by continuous education programmes, corporate training on the most modern equipment, and financial resources that are second-to-none”.
It concludes that “if you’re ready to take your customer experience to the next level, visit your local Cartridge World location and get the guidance of a true printing supply expert!”
