Xerox wins US procurement contract

The OEM has “earned a huge contract” with the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).usdalogo

WHEC reported on the deal signed between the OEM and the US government “thanks to technology developed in Rochester”, with the USDA awarding the OEM with a $110 million (€99.5 million) contract for it to “build nearly 20,000 printers that will be used in USDA offices all over the world”, with the machines set to feature the OEM’s Connect Key technology “which, among other things, allows users to print from mobile devices”.

In 2013, the OEM signed a procurement deal with the US Navy, and also signed MPS procurement deals previously with the University of Nottingham, the UK government, and the City of Rochester.
