Indian Toners launches MPS programme

imps-bannerThe toner manufacturer has entered MPS with iMPS, a “brand-neutral” MPS programme.

On its website, Indian Toners (ITDL) stated that iMPS is also an “integrated MPS programme” that is “in line to the primary business stream of ITDL”, and noted that iMPS can “manage all aspects of your business printing devices, including printers, scanners, faxes and copiers”, with “optimisation of these devices enabl[ing] businesses to save money, produce less paper waste and increase efficiency”.

The company moved on to discussing five reasons why customers should choose iMPS, including “reducing cost”, with a “minimum of 25 to 30 percent reduction in print-related expenses; “improved productivity”, with “supplies and service managed for you”; “security”, through “mitigating risk with device and data protection”; “sustainability” by “reduc[ing] waste and energy consumption”; and “innovation”, through “better service expertise beyond print”.

In more detail, Indian Toners added that the “reduced print cost” comes from the customer needing “lower and consistent print costs using less administrative resources”, while managing an “existing printer fleet” allows it to “help to manage existing printers without capital investments while reducing my IT workload”.

On reducing the carbon footprint, it said iMPS helps customers “support the green initiatives by reducing waste and power consumption”, while optimising a fleet allows for “recommendation[s] on optimal print environment and consolidating the number/type of print devices”. It moved on to discussing meeting customer security requirements, noting that iMPS is a “solution in-line with print security policies to control access to customer intellectual property”.

The programme can offer “better productivity” because of “improving printer fleet performance to achieve extensive productivity of employees”, while “enhanced workflows” are created by “solutions that integrate and support existing document and business operations”. Finally, the solution can “support mobile print”, and features a “continuous evolution cycle”, which Indian Toners went on to outline.

The first step in the cycle is to undertake a “professional audit of current output services infrastructure” and “provide an assessment of total cost of ownership (TCO)”, while the second is to plan and “identify opportunities to improve performance, streamline operations and reduce costs” by designing “a print infrastructure based on your needs”.

Third is to execute “the agreed-to design”, as well as “support your staff through the transition process, enabling user adoption and results”, while fourth was to “manage”, and “provide remote monitoring and full service desk facilities”, as well as offer “proactive incident management and supplies replenishment”.

Finally, the iMPS solution aims to “cover all aspects of the service level agreement including consumables, service desk, consolidated invoicing, and standardised reporting”.
