HP Inc hopes to disrupt the market in India with the launch of the new models.
Daiji World reported that the LaserJet and A3 MFPs are said to be cost-effective, and along with mobile printing will help SMBs across the country. The next-generation LaserJet Ultra MFP M134fn is powered by JetIntelligence, and can print 6,900 pages at a 60 percent lower cost using three toner cartridges that can last for two years.
The LaserJet MFP M436 has built-in networking, and is a reliable A3 desktop printer. Both print 22ppm with first page out in 7.5 seconds, and print quality comes from the Black Precision Toner technology. The LaserJet Pro MFP M132 series can print up to 23ppm, while the LaserJet Pro MFP M277 series can print up to 30ppm.
All models support ePrint, Apple AirPrint 1.5 and Google Cloud Print, allowing printing “from PC, tablet or smartphone”, and there is a 100-sheet automatic document feeder. Additionally, HP Inc unveiled four next-generation business scanners that are faster and more robust. A spokesman for HP Inc added that users “can choose from the new HP LaserJet Ultra 106 series that comes with three-toner cartridges, the HP LaserJet Pro 203 series or the HP LaserJet 104 series”.
Parikshet Singh Tomar, Director of Printing Systems at HP Inc India, said: “The new HP LaserJet Ultra is designed to meet the needs of small offices. We are excited to extend the HP experience to customers and partners who have been eagerly awaiting a high-quality and highly reliable choice for their A3 MFPs.”
