The ACE award is a new annual award for remanufacturers launched by The Remanufacturing Industries Council (RIC).
The award is named after the RIC’s undertaking “Advocate, Collaborate and Educate”, and is for all sectors of the remanufacturing industry.
There are three categories for the ACE award based on the letters themselves, and nominees for each category must demonstrate how they manage their businesses. The first category, Advocate, requires nominees to show how they “promote remanufacturing or sustainability in business, government, education or other fields”.
The second category, Collaborate, requires the entrant to show how they work with “other companies, regulatory bodies, law makers, or others to promote remanufacturing and other sustainable practices”. The final category, Education, requires that the nominee demonstrate “a passion toward educating others about the many benefits of remanufacturing”.
Bill Davies, Chairman of the Remanufacturing Industries Council, said: “We are very excited to have the opportunity to acknowledge the great work that remanufacturers are doing for the industry through the RIC Remanufacturing ACE Awards. Remanufacturing is a growing industry impacting the economy, jobs, and the environment.”
