Two people have been arrested in the US for allegedly making fraudulent cheques with a printer.
The crime took place in Tulsa Oklahoma, reported Fox23, police were alerted when employees at the Bank of America were suspicious when one of the accused opened a checking account, and the other accused was there to collect debit cards from an account she had opened. Zachary Bambrough and Paige Clary were later arrested.
When the accused realised that the bank transactions were taking too long, they hurriedly left in a waiting taxi, but when police caught up with them they discovered a printer and stacks of forged cheques inside, as well as a hard drive and software used to make the cheques.
The forged cheques, some of which had been used to open accounts, were in piles in the taxi and some had not been used. The bank is directly opposite the Police department in Mingo Valley, so police did not have far to go to catch up with the pair. Bambrough and Clary are in police custody awaiting trial.
