The company, in a press release (German), stated that it is a “specialist for sustainable printing and printer management”, and is a “printing expert with more than 50 years of experience” in producing “environmentally-friendly IT accessories” from its “own production facility in Germany”. With its main concept “reprocessing and multiple use”, it added that it was “the first company to be certified with the Blue Angel RAL ZU 177 remanufactured toner cartridges standard”.

On its sustainable printing capabilities, the company stated that its products “are designed for high performance in professional applications”, and are “characterised by an up-to 100 percent higher performance”. Its process “ensures optimal print quality, conserves valuable resources and reduces CO2 emissions by up to 70 percent”, and it also has accreditation under the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 quality management and DIN EN ISO 14001:2004 environmental management standards, which it says “represent the highest quality standards and environmental responsibility”. Finally, it moved on to discuss its ‘Green IT’ offerings, such as the “responsible use of resources”.

In this case, “ecological and economic sustainability is the focus of TBS”, with “incorrectly used printer systems result[ing] in unnecessary printing costs and consumables are often wasted”. Its MPS programme “offers a manufacturer-independent complete solution: saving printing costs and resources!”

The ‘Printcommander’ offering “provides comprehensive analyses of the printer environment” to “allow the detection of hidden costs and the best possible utilisation of the systems”, with a “long-term customer benefit of up to 40 percent lower printing costs and up to 70 percent less administration”.
