Dutch IT Channel announced its nominees for Printing Innovator of the Year.
In a press release, Dutch IT channel announced that Epson, HP Inc, OKI, Ricoh and Xerox have been nominated in the category, and that the winner will be revealed on 19 January in Hilversum at Studio 21. Epson is in the running because of its MPS concept Print365 for SMEs, and is up against HP Inc with its PageWide printers that combine laser and ink properties.
OKI, has been nominated for its “cost effective and professional printing solutions” for businesses, and also for ‘OKI takes you further’, a promotion for business partners who get points for “selling products, tracking of training and organising marketing activities” which ends in March 2017. The third OEM nominated is Ricoh, which was said to have stood out for the introduction of a new line of A3 colour printers this year and “smart connectivity, a customisable user interface and the ability to integrate directly into the workflow”.
Last but not least, Xerox has been nominated for the app it developed with Dutch software companies Xtandit and Quiver, which is for MFPs and reinforces “an already existing document security solution Quiver, by also integrating the MFP in this complete data and document security”.
