BCMY Ltd receives cartridge recycling award

The UK company was awarded by Let’s Recycle for its “innovative approach” to cartridge recycling.

BCMY Ltd stated that it was recognised by Let’s Recycle at its ‘Investors in Zero Waste’ ceremony at the Glaziers Hall in London on 8 December, with BBC political journalist and broadcaster Ben Wright the event’s guest speaker and host “presenting the awards”. BCMY Ltd won the ‘Innovative & Responsible Printer Cartridge Recycling’ award, stating that it had been “recognised for [its] innovative approach to printer cartridge recycling”.

‘Investors in Zero Waste’ is “the UK’s premier ongoing recognition scheme rewarding the innovation and commitment of businesses, public authorities and third sector organisations who are striving to eliminate waste”. BCMY Ltd added that it has “recently moved into a new 33,000-square-foot premises in Littlehampton”, and is “set to become the only AATF [approved authorised treatment facility] cartridge recycling plant in the UK”.  

Jason Doran, BCMY Ltd’s Business Development Director, received the award on behalf of the company, and commented: “We are really delighted to receive this important award in recognition for our Zero Waste Recycling business. We have spent a lot of time and effort in developing this brand and service for our customers. Printer cartridges are now part of the UK WEEE directive, so the AATF accreditation. along with this ‘Investors in Zero Waste’ award, is a very important step in the development of the BCMY Ltd brand and services.”
