The company said that it had “substantially strengthened” its European product and technology range this year. and talked about the improvements to its printers for the “modern day workplace” for SOHO and SMBs .The Mono Laser L6000 printer series consisted of four printers and five MFPs for large businesses, all integrated with practical features and solutions including NFC (near-field communication) and its Brother Solutions Interface for customisation and integration.

Printers in the Mono Laser L5000 series were aimed at SMBs, and included three printers and three MFPs which enabled mobile features for printing from smart devices. There was also the introduction of the Inkbenefit models, two inkjet MFPs, that are said to “reduce the cost of high quality printing by more than 60 percent” using high yield cartridges.

The company claimed it was an “outstanding year for awards and accolades”, having won the BLI summer picks awards and securing six outstanding awards for mono laser printers and MFPs and scanners, as well as iF Design Awards, where Brother was acknowledged for the ninth year running, winning five awards for outstanding design quality for laser, label printer and solutions, making it 55 iF awards in total so far.

The company said that it has used the latest technology to secure quality mobile print solutions, and the new devices are designed to lower total costs of ownership, adding that next year it will target the business segment with new printer ranges.
