The OEM announced that it is offering Nuance Communications’ AutoStore and Equitrac document solutions.
In a press release, Toshiba said that it will “sell and distribute Nuance’s flagship solutions” through its own dealer network and Toshiba Business Solutions (TABS) throughout the US and Latin America. Integration of AutoStore and Equitrac is easily achieved through the “front panel user interface of e-STUDIO products”, and is designed to “streamline document workflow” enabling businesses to work more securely and efficiently.
AutoStore and AutoStore Express use as little interaction as possible to process information using “real-time connections to business systems for rapid and error-free document handling”, and can capture “both electronic and paper documents and route them to over 50 different document destinations”. Equitrac offers business users the “flexibility to print what they need and when they need it, while reducing the costs”, and allows businesses to adapt, giving a choice on how to deploy the printing by using “print servers, direct IP printing or a hybrid model that includes both”.
Bill Melo, Chief Marketing Executive at Toshiba America Business Solutions, said: “Expanding our solutions offering with innovative technology is a priority at Toshiba. Our alliance with Nuance has enabled us to integrate new solutions with our MFPs that will improve customers’ document workflow and equip them with the document security they expect from Toshiba.”
Chris Strammiello, Vice President of Global Alliances and Strategic Marketing, at Nuance Document Imaging, added: “As the preeminent capture and print management solutions, AutoStore and Equitrac help organisations of all sizes meet their document workflow needs. When deployed on e-STUDIO devices, AutoStore and Equitrac enable organisations to address strategic business initiatives that increase productivity, meet security and compliance needs, and drive efficiencies, while simultaneously meeting user demands for intuitive, easy to use MFPs.”
