The company has produced chips for use in a range of the OEM’s LaserJet printers.
Apex stated that the chips are “first-to-market” and feature an SoC design, with the machines including the LaserJet MFP M436N and 436NDA launched in China and India last year, said to be the “first set of MSP that launched” after HP Inc acquired Samsung’s printer business. The devices feature print speeds of up to 23ppm, while the chips are said to feature “steady performance”.
The black chips launched globally are for use in cartridges for the two aforementioned printers, and feature a range of yields including 4,000 pages, 6,600 pages, 11,400 pages and 80,000 pages.
