Hubert de Boisredon discussed the company’s achievements in 2016 and new aims in 2017.
The video, which you can view below, sees de Boisredon talk to camera in English (with French subtitles), and starts by welcoming “partners, customers and dear friends”, and noting that 2016 was a year of “events and innovation”. The video then highlights that the company “strengthened its leadership and service in thermal transfer ribbons”, Armor investing in a “new high-speed cutting machine” to “support the growth”.
The machine will also help it continue to “deliver perfect service to our customers” in the thermal ribbons market, alongside a new public range of golden and silver ribbons, which will “be introduced the market very soon”. He moves on to discuss “three new activities launched in 2016” – industrial inks, advanced coated films “for connected objects” and sustainable 3D filaments.
In 2017 meanwhile, the company will “develop new partnerships” for its photovoltaic film, de Boisredon sharing a preview of a PV card with the Eiffel Tower, which “will be marketed soon by one of our partners” – the tower design reflecting France’s industrial revolution. It will also “launch new and safe products” for batteries and new 3D filaments, and for the printing industry, it will introduce OWA Print Services, which de Boisredon states is a “cost-per-page printing service”.
Finally, he noted that Armor “will continue to work on our social and environmental commitments”, highlighting work such as its help decorating a kindergarten in Mexico and supporting disabled French people. He concludes by wishing customers a happy new year “on behalf of Armor”, and “may it be filled with success in your person and professional” lives, before wishing customers a happy new year in other languages.
