The announcement was made during a board meeting, with Yoshinori Yamashita the new President, Representative Director and CEO.
Ricoh said in a press release that Yamashita had been approved as the new President, Representative Director and CEO at a board meeting held today, after it was announced that Zenji Miura had stepped down from the post after four years. The changes to the top management of the company were made due to Ricoh dealing with the decline in growth of office printing, and the cultivation of sustainability management in the business.
Miura will be appointed as Corporate Executive Advisor, and Shiro Kondo, who resigned as Representative Director, will continue as Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors, while Nobuo Inaba will become the new Chairman of the board on that date. These appointments are effective from 1 April.
