The MPS and managed service provider was awarded a position on the UK health service’s London procurement framework.
In a press release, the company stated that it had been awarded the position on the NHS London Procurement Partnership framework, noting that this was “established to support the NHS to make the most of its purchasing power to maximise investment in patient care”. Annodata was specifically placed on the Clinical and Digital Information Systems (CDIS) framework, on Lot 3.1a, which refers to the “supply of printers and MFDs”, as well as 3.1b for MPS.
The company stated that “achieving this position reinforces Annodata’s commitment to the public healthcare sector and further consolidates the MSP’s position as a trusted advisor”. The procurement partnership is a “membership organisation” founded and funded by other NHS groups, and is said to be “committed to helping members achieve their objectives while enabling innovation, increased efficiency, improved patient outcomes and reduced clinical risk”.
In order to qualify for a place on the procurement framework, suppliers “must be suitably experienced and capable for use by NHS trusts, foundation trusts, clinical commissioning groups, GP federations and other health and social care providers within the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, as well as local authorities and other third sector organisations”.
Rod Tonna-Barthet, CEO of Annodata, commented: “Public healthcare is an extremely important sector for Annodata and it stands to gain a lot from the services we offer. Budget cuts often mean that this market needs to find alternative ways to generate savings in a way that doesn’t impact patients and staff.
“Since we started as a company, we’ve helped numerous healthcare institutions to reimagine their print estates by helping them gain the visibility and transparency required to improve the overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness of their environments allowing the NHS to redirect costs from back office infrastructure to front line services.
“We are very pleased to have been awarded a place on the NHS LPP as Annodata has a strong commitment to the public healthcare service, reflected by our solutions that are tailored specifically for this sector. Achieving a position on this framework, in addition to the recent place we earned on the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC), consolidates our stance as a trusted advisor to the public sector as a whole.”
