greenofficeprintingThe US company, which manufactures bio-toner, has announced “significant increases in sales personnel”.

In a press release, the company, based in Tallassee, Florida, stated that it “leads the charge in desktop printing” as a “pioneer of bio-based toner for laser printers”, with the increased sales presence “nationwide” and including “over 30 sales representatives”. The company notes that it already “has representation in all 50 states, Canada and the Caribbean”, with its mission to be at “the forefront of bio-based printing for laser printers”.

It also noted that it “believes in a better, cleaner, and more environmentally-sustainable way to print, without petroleum oil”, with the overall aim to “reduce the use of foreign petroleum oil, increase the use of renewable bio-based resources, and improve the environment”. The company is “led by industry leaders from the printing industry”, and covers the US “with distribution centres in seven regions”, with sales “poised to increase” by 200 percent in 2017.

In turn, Green Office Printing pointed out that it is “pleased to promote environmental sustainability for future generations, helping customers create a cleaner and healthier office environment while reducing our dependency on foreign petroleum oil, promote the green office concept and a healthy office for workers”. The company’s customers are said to “range from law firms, to universities, to global food, to beverage companies and many small businesses”.

Additionally, its goals in 2017 are to “continue to bring new products and technology to market such as bio-based toner cartridges”, with the increase in sales staff “to satisfy the increasing demand for their product”. It cited “industry experts” that said “bio-based toner cartridges save two to three litres of foreign petroleum oil by replacing it with soybean oil”, with the ingredients of the cartridge “grown by US farmers”, while the cartridges “cost less than the OEM models”.

A company spokeswoman commented: “We are excited where Green Office Printing is today and eager to see how the market responds to our increased capabilities in 2017. Green Office Printing will continue to extend the proven technology that led the newspaper printing industry to transform from petroleum oil based inks to bio-based based inks.”
