The US company has installed an automated handling system that meets its environmental standards.
Military Technologies reported that LD Products worked with Hytrol and integration partner, McCombs-Wall, “to design and install an energy-efficient automated handling system” which has the capacity to allow for the company’s future growth, and also met the standards for its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED-certified).
The new design means that there is less manual labour required, and LD Products has been able to cut its “workforce by 53 percent”, and the “speedy and energy efficient” system is able to increase output.
