The company has launched further replacement chips for the OEM’s ES series.
Apex stated that in December last year it launched replacement OKI chips for the OEM’s B432 series of printers, and that the new launch has seen chips released for the ES series, including the ES5112 machines, with the “structure of this series’ cartridges […] the same”. Benefits of the chips include “ASIC design with consistent performance”, their “special size” for installing in B431 cartridges, and that they are “first-to-market” for North and Latin America and the Asia Pacific.
The monochrome chips feature yields of 12,000 pages, and were also made available for the European and Middle Eastern markets, with the chips able to be used in the ES4132, 4192 and 5162 MFP in addition to the ES5112.
