A range of the French remanufacturer’s owa-brand toner cartridges have been awarded the ecolabel.
The company’s newest accreditations include 13 remanufactured toner cartridges under the German Blue Angel ecolabel, with the cartridges covered including remanufactured alternatives for Lexmark and Dell machines. The sole Dell cartridge covered is the remanufactured B2360 black, with a yield of 8,500 pages and used in the B2360d printer.
For Lexmark meanwhile, the first two include a standard replacement for the 552 black with a yield of 6,000 pages, and a high capacity version with a yield of 25,000 pages, both used in the MS810dn. Next was the remanufactured 502H, X and U black cartridges, with respective yields of 5,000, 10,000 and 20,000 pages and used respectively in the MS310d, MS410dn and MS510dn printers.
Three remanufactured Lexmark 602 cartridges, including the standard, H and X models in black, were also accredited, with respective yields of 2,500, 10,000 and 20,000 pages, and all used in the MX610dhe printer. Next were the 622H and X black cartridges for use in the MX710de, with respective yields of 25,000 and 45,000 pages, while the final two included the black 522X and 622, with respective yields of 45,000 and 6,000 pages respectively for the MS811dn and MX710de.
The Blue Angel standard covers “around 12,000 environmentally-friendly products and services from around 1,500 companies”, and is “an environmental label organised by the federal government of Germany for the protection of people and the environment” that “sets very exacting standards, is independent and has proven itself over more than 35 years as a guide for selecting environmentally-friendly products”.
