PrintFleet partners with Q2

The MPS company and parts manufacturer have agreed a supplies fulfilment partnership.

In a press release, PrintFleet stated that it has partnered with Q2, a “national distributor of compatible imaging supplies”, to provide its PrintFleet LINK-enabled “just-in-time supplies fulfilment programme for the imaging industry throughout the United States”. It added that “traditional supplies fulfilment is typically associated with high cost, time-consuming manual processes which are prone to error and result in lower value for the customer”.

The partnership will allow Q2 customers, therefore, to “simplify and automate these processes, reducing the administrative burden and providing better inventory management, which ultimately lowers costs”. Q2 agreed a strategic partnership with US remanufacturer ILG last year, becoming ILG’s official Business Technology Association (BTA) channel distributor, as well as its sales and marketing partner in the office machine industry channel,

Neal Becker, Partner and Co- founder at Q2, stated: “Customer satisfaction is a driving force behind our efforts to provide the best value and service to our many customers. Implementation of automated order fulfilment through PrintFleet will allow Q2 to continue this mission as we expand our capabilities to serve our many MPS customers.”

Chris McFarlane, President and CEO of PrintFleet, added: “We are excited to see the industry moving towards automation and the resulting simplification of supply management and are especially thrilled to have Q2 joining our LINK platform. This new capability greatly simplifies the exchange of data for Q2 from resellers enabling a more efficient and cost-effective delivery of supplies and services.”
