The two remanufacturers have launched a wide range of remanufactured cartridges for various OEM applications.
The first of two Brother launches saw the remanufacturers launch CMYK cartridges (and a high-yield black) for the MFC-J6520DW and 6720DW, with the high-yield black featuring a yield of 2,400 pages and the CMYK yields of 1,200 pages in black and colours. The second launch meanwhile was a drum unit for use in the HL-4570, with a yield of 25,000 pages.
The first of two Canon launches was CMY cartridges for the LBP-7780Cx, under the Marathon brand, and which featured yields of 8,750 pages, while the second launch was Standard and Marathon black cartridges for use in the LBP-351 and 352 machines, with respective yields of 11,000 and 25,000 pages. The sole HP Inc releases was CMY cartridges for use in the LaserJet Enterprise 500 Colour M551, again under the Marathon brand, and with yields of 8,750 pages.
The first of three Kyocera launches meanwhile was a monochrome cartridge for use in the KM 2550, with a yield of 15,000 pages, while the second was another monochrome cartridge for the TASKalfa 3500i and 5500i machines with a yield of 35,000 pages. The third and final Kyocera launch was another monochrome cartridge, this time for the TASKalfa 6500i and 6501i, with a yield of 70,000 pages.
The first of two OKI launches was CMYK cartridges for use in the MC760 and 770 printers, with yields of 8,000 pages in black and 6,000 pages in colours, while the second was CMYK cartridges for the C801 and 821 machines, with yields of 7,000 pages in black and 7,300 pages in colours. The sole Samsung launch was CMYK cartridges for the C430 and 480 machines, with yields of 1,500 pages in black and 1,000 pages in colours.
Finally, the remanufacturers launched CMYK cartridges for the UTAX CDC 1725 and 1730 machines, with yields of 20,000 pages in black and 12,000 pages in colours.
