US companies in acquisition deal

Atlantic, Tomorrow’s Office has acquired Praxis Data Systems (PDS).

The managed services provider (MSP) said in a press release that the acquisition will expand its MSP and imaging business in Philadelphia and Delaware Valley. Atlantic, Tomorrow’s Office provides services to over 20,000 customers, while PDS has been helping businesses for over 20 years in the Greater Philadelphia area and Southern New Jersey as an IT services provider.

Executives from Atlantic said that this is an “opportunity to enhance customer value” as it will expand “IT service resources throughout Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey with 20 additional IT professionals”, as well as a “synergistic fit in culture placing customer service as a top priority, IT solution sets are well aligned with similar services and product offerings”.

Also, PDS will “be able to expand a full portfolio of imaging solutions to their customer base”, and its leadership is “committed to continue to lead operations and maintain customer relationships”. Atlantic said that the acquisition would “provide customers of all sizes with affordable access to business technology products and services”, which will improve “employee productivity, mitigate security threats and control technology-related expenses”.

PDS will continue “to provide uninterrupted service” to both new and old customers, and will be offering Atlantic’s business technology services which include: imaging office technology and services; production printing systems; managed IT services; cloud services; private cloud services; MDS; MPS; and professional services.
