Clover Imaging Group (CIG) has been expanded to the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) market, with the changes set to “unify all of the brands and divisions” in the region.
In a press release and email sent out to customers, CIG stated that “we are excited to launch” in the EMEA, “representing an important milestone in our history”, and meaning CIG in the region “is your one-stop-shop for everything from remanufactured toner, ink, and franking machine cartridges, to dynamic marketing, support and environmental programmes to help you reach your customers”.
CIG noted that “now more than just a marketing umbrella, CIG joins Clover Wireless and Clover Telecom as a brand division within the Clover family”, as CIG launched in 2015 “was more conceptual in nature”, serving as a “marketing umbrella to unite the brands and services” in the imaging supplies division. The rebranded CIG will create “one singular entity which creates an industry category of one”.
CIG added that the new EMEA CIG “will truly unify all of the brands and divisions of the group under one sales and marketing umbrella where you can order anything from the MSE, Dataproducts, freecolor and Re-Post branded ranges, all from one single source”, while its “private label customers will have complete access to customised product ranges also via our award winning e-commerce platform”.
In turn, CIG in the EMEA will enable the company to “provide you with the most compelling and powerful value proposition across the industry”, with a new website launch an “integral component” featuring “full shopping basket functionality for quick and easy ordering”; “responsive design for the best user experience on any device”; “robust and intelligent search functionality”; and “full product comparison”.
CIG also stated that it was “very pleased” to announce a move to a “new state-of-the-art distribution facility” in Wijchen in the Netherlands. The transition to the “new 9,500m2 distribution warehouse” means that the company will use the “modern, state-of-the-art warehouse” with a “14,000 pallet racking capacity as well as a 3,000m2 cross dock facility housing 22 loading docks”.
The site replaces its current distribution point in Hamburg “and is strategically located to provide an effective and efficient delivery service to the most densely populated areas of the EMEA market”. A full transition to the new site “will be completed during March 2017”, while other distribution centres are “located in Portugal, Serbia, Switzerland and [the] United Arab Emirates (UAE)”, all set to “remain as key distribution points to ensure a timely delivery service to all of our customers, regardless of location”.
Eric Martin, President of CIG, commented: “For over 15 years, we have been putting together a group of companies in the imaging space that were leaders and drivers of innovation on their own, but taken collectively the new CIG is able to offer a portfolio of products, services and solutions that will not only set a new standard for today but will also serve as a global platform to drive the industry forward.
“The newly created CIG will continue to evolve as market changes necessitate additional products and services which means you should expect to see this group continue to diversify and invest in our collective futures.”
Robin Edwardes, Commercial Director EMEA for CIG, commented” “In EMEA the new Clover Imaging Group represents the widest range of toner products, business and franking inks and industry-leading MPS capabilities. The company will offer the best stock availability, supported brands, and IP safe re-assurance to the office supplies industry as well as our newly geographic focused sales, technical and customer care teams.
“We continue to work on supply-chain innovations to improve the service levels to all our customers, large and small, and the new CIG website will encapsulate this highly customer-centric approach“.
