The two companies have announced the dates and locations for their road show in the US.
CIG (Clover Imaging Group) and Print Audit have joined up with the Business Technology Association (BTA) to deliver their MPS event, which consists of a day of training at executive level that looks at MPS from all aspects. The event is the first seat-based billing (SBB) road show of its kind, and each event will be held the day before three of BTA’s events on 6 June in Kansas, 15 August in Las Vegas and 12 September in Philadelphia.
SBB products are already being used in other markets such as managed IT services, and has many benefits that are different from cost per page (CPP) models, Print Audit commented. As businesses in the MPS market begin to offer SBB, “complimenting their traditional models”, they will be able to access “best practices and training”, noted Print Audit, which is critical for improved effectiveness and training.
John MacInnes, President at Print Audit, said: “SBB is the business model of the future for managed print. We know this is new for dealers and we are extremely proud to offer them a day of training like no other. If people are serious about SBB for managed print, the SBB Road Show is an event they’ll want to attend.”
Brent Hoskins, BTA Executive Director, commented: “The dealer community has expressed a growing interest in SBB. BTA is pleased that these Road Shows will be held in conjunction with three of our educational and networking events. We know that the training will be valuable to dealers who are looking to deliver SBB effectively.”
