The company’s European subsidiary showed off its 3D printers on the UK’s Ideal World and Create and Craft channels.
Print-Rite Europe showed the capabilities of its CoLiDo Compact 3D printer and 3D pen to audiences of the shopping channels , and said that viewers were quick to snap up 20 percent of the total stock of printers in the first 20 minutes. Representatives of the CoLiDo Europe team joined TV presenters in a series of shows over two days per week, and created a variety of objects with the 3D printers.
Print-Rite Europe’s Joe Banner was especially recognised for his “speed when changing filament between prints” while staying out of shot. During filming, two owls were created and to celebrate its TV success, and on its Facebook page, Print-Rite is giving away one to a member of the public who likes and shares their page on Facebook or Twitter. The winner will be announced on Facebook on 20 March at 12.30 pm.
Earlier this year on 15 January, the company appeared on Create and Craft to promote the 3D printers.
