US teacher smashes printer

A teacher was accused of destroying a printer in a school using a hammer.

Bismarck Tribune reported that 37-year-old Lukas Kostelecky was arrested and charged with destroying school property in New Town, North Dakota. Police were called to the school, and were told that a “teacher that was freaking out and destroying property”. Witnesses said that they heard “loud noises” but did not actually see the destruction of the printer.

Kostelecky faces a charge of criminal mischief, but has pleaded not guilty, and has been suspended from teaching since the incident. He is due back in court in June.
