HP Inc makes changes in India

The OEM has changed some top management positions in its India operation.

The Pioneer reported that Rajiv Srivastava has been appointed Chief Operating Officer and Head of Sales Strategy and Operations for HP Inc in Asia Pacific and Japan which is a “newly created regional position”. Srivastava was responsible for achieving HP’s “leadership positions in every category across the PC and printer segments” and organised HP’s Digital India business unit.

Srivastava was the Managing Director and General Manager, HP Inc India and this post will now be taken by Sumeer Chandra who was the Chief Operating Officer for HP Inc India previously. Both positions are effective from May this year.

Richard Bailey, President, HP Inc, Asia Pacific and Japan, said: “As outstanding leaders with proven track records, I am confident Srivastava and Chandra will deliver innovation that drives growth and business results for our customers and partners across India and the region.”
