Flo-Tech, a US remanufacturer of toner cartridges, has been named the Senators “Monday Manufacturer”.

Patch.com reported that Senator Chris Murphy named Flo-Tech as this weeks “Murphy’s Monday Manufacturer” in Middletown Connecticut where it has been operating since 1992 as a remanufacturer of recycled toner cartridges as well as providing other printing consumables.

The company employs 73 people from the region and offers them many benefits which include “medical, dental, disability and life insurance” as well as a “retirement plan and credit union membership”.

Flo-Tech has 12 patents with eight pending for their own technology. Murphy said in a statement: “I know how important Connecticut’s manufacturing industry is to our state’s workers and families. That’s why I’m doing everything I can to make sure that the federal government prioritises the purchase of American-made products – like Flo-Tech’s remanufactured printer cartridges – over products made by foreign competitors. I’m looking forward to visiting with the Flo-Tech team later this week and learning how I can continue to help.”

Leo Bonetti, CEO of Flo-Tech, commented: “I’m proud Connecticut has been our home base for our entire 25 years in business and that we’ve been able to provide opportunities to all of our Connecticut employees.”
