GIT discusses The European Remanufacturing Council

The CMO and CEO of GIT talk about the role of GIT as the only non EU founding member and the benefits to the remanufacturing industry.

Bernard Meettrier de Jollin, CMO, GIT, said that as a founding member of the council the company could benefit and share expertise in the industry with other members and that there was an opportunity to contribute on a global scale to the market as per the global strategy of the council.

Dr Sassan Khatib Shahidi, CEO, GIT, agreed and said that “sharing best practices with educational insitutes in Europe is valuable” and will help to improve remanufacturing and to be able to continue the innovation process.

Shahidi said: “it is humbling to be chosen as the only non European member to be a founder of the council” and that this strengthened GIT’s philosophy of “reliability, responsibility and responsiveness” towards its employees and the industry as well as the environment and creating jobs. He also said that GIT had started out in Europe and that the “council stands aligned with GIT’s brand purpose” which has the vision of becoming “the market leading OEM alternative document printing solutions provider in Europe, the Middle East, Africa.”
