Xerox names new Channel Leader

The OEM has a new Global Channel Strategy Leader and has been named as Pete Peterson.

The announcement was made by Xerox that Peterson will be Senior Vice President of Global Channel Strategy and will be responsible for “revenue and profit growth” and will also lead and implement “targeted investments” across the channels worldwide.

The OEM is expanding its channel business especially “reseller space” worth $20 billion (€18 billion) by “providing partners a broader set of products, solutions and vertically integrated tools, technology and service delivery processes”.

Kevin Warren, Chief Commercial Officer, Xerox, said: “Now that we support the largest solutions-enabled portfolio in the industry, we’re able to bring new opportunities to the partner channel that serves small and medium businesses (SMBs). Pete is part of our investment in that channel network – bringing to Xerox the extensive experience required to ratchet up recruitment and activation of partners that are the right fit and growth potential to increase our market share with SMBs.”

Previously Peterson worked at TESSCO Technologies where he led sales and before that he was Vice President of Global Channels Brocade and has a “Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Tuskegee University and a Master in Business Administration from Florida State University”.
