3D printers are renown for their noise but ColIDo have reduced this by 40 percent.
Colido.com reported that the noise from 3D printers can be intrusive and repetitive and go on for hours depending “on the size of the object being printed” which adds to noise pollution and dangerous distraction.
The blog continued that noise pollution can lead to “dangerous health problems” such as high blood pressure and stress levels as well as hearing problems. Manufacturers are taking this seriously and making it a priority to overcome the problem and not least the line of 3D printers from CoLiDo which has the “quietest group of printers on the market”.
These printers have a background noise of 30 to 40 decibels and based on testing at CoLiDo are 40 percent quieter than other brands helping to overcome noise pollution because they have been engineered with “higher quality parts and better construction methods” said the company.
