Lexmark wins award

The OEM has won a category in the US When Work Works Award for best practices and innovation.

The company reported the win in its blog and said that Lexmark won the category for “innovative, effective workplace practices and that this is the ninth time it has been recognised for its “exemplary workplace practices”.

Sheri Evans Depp, Human Resources Director, Lexmark, said: “Providing our employees creative options to be able to contribute great work and also fulfil passions outside of work remains essential to Lexmark. We’re proud to again be recognized for our innovative workplace practices.”

Competitors were evaluated on staff well being and health as well as educational opportunities and promoting trust, support, life balance, job and earnings satisfaction and benefits.

Cassidy Solis, Senior advisor, Workplace Flexibility, Society for Human Resource Management, commented: “These winners have reinvented their workplaces in ways that benefit business and employees alike and are reaping the benefits in terms of employee job satisfaction and retention.”
