The ISO 27001 certification has been awarded to Kyocera Document Solutions Europe.
In a press release Kyocera said that it has shown its commitment to data security and the certification verified this. The BSI Group, an internationally recognised standards authority, presented the certificate to Kyocera after a rigorous auditing process which started in April 2016 and audited all of the OEMs hard and software across the EMEA and including Kyocera headquarters in the Netherlands.
The certification shows that a business follows the “highest standard of data security best practices” and a delighted Andrei Muchtar, European Information Security Officer, Kyocera Document Solutions Europe B.V. commented: “We are delighted to be pioneers in achieving this certification. The ISO 27001 standard provides one of the strongest guarantees available for the security of our employee and customer data, enabling us to compete for tenders where this compliance is a mandatory requirement.
